Three passenger aircraft flying from Türkiye to Moscow have turned around over Lithuania and begun heading back due to restrictions in place at Vnukovo Airport, an air traffic control services source told TASS.
"Flights originating from Izmir, Antalya, and Istanbul to Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport turned around in Lithuanian airspace and headed back," the source said. The aircraft are expected to land at Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen International Airport.
