On May 7, during the ceasefire announced by Russia in honor of Victory Day terrorist attacks were prevented in the Kremlin and Red Square area, said Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin informed U.S. President Donald Trump about the incident during a phone call held on May 19.
“Putin told Trump that during the night leading into May 7, Ukraine launched 524 kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and several ‘Storm Shadow’/SCALP-EG cruise missiles toward Russia. Putin’s decision to share this with Trump was certainly not accidental, as the Ukrainians directly threatening foreign participants of the celebrations were trying to intimidate international leaders to prevent them from coming to Moscow,” the Russian presidential aide noted.
