A terror attack planned against one of the senior leaders of the law enforcement system in Moscow has been prevented, the Federal Security Service said in a statement, APA reports.
According to the information, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had planned to carry out a remote-controlled explosion in a business center.
“The Federal Security Service has foiled a high-profile terror attack planned by the SBU against one of the senior leaders of the law enforcement system in Moscow,” the statement said.
According to the FSB, a powerful improvised explosive device was discovered in the cargo compartment of an electric scooter parked near the entrance of the business center.
“It was planned to remotely detonate the explosive device when the target entered the business center,” the agency noted.
