Negotiations on Ukraine are ongoing, but there is still a long way to go, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with NTV, APA reports.
“We have repeatedly said that we should not be overly emotional about what is happening, as if U.S. President Donald Trump has ‘put Europeans and Volodymyr Zelensky in their place’ and is demanding that they comply. If we want peace in Ukraine, that is good, but we are not there yet,” the minister said.
Emphasizing that negotiations are continuing, Lavrov recalled that the second round of talks was held in Abu Dhabi.
“There is still a long distance to go,” the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry concluded.
