The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation has lifted the ban on the Taliban's activities within the country, APA reports.
The court made the decision during a session held today, following a request from the Prosecutor General's Office.
Note that some time ago, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office requested the Supreme Court to remove the Taliban movement from the list of terrorist organizations.
Recall that in December 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law allowing the removal of the Taliban from the list of terrorist organizations.
