Speaker of Armenian Parliament insults RT TV channel editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan

Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan insulted RT TV channel editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan, APA reports.

Alen Simonyan called Margarita Simonyan a dirty creature on his Telegram channel and accused her of interfering in Armenia's sovereign affairs.

The speaker stressed that Margarita Simonyan, apart from her surname ending in "yan", has nothing to do with Armenia and the Armenian people.

"She insults the Armenian leadership, calls on people to rally in our country, to overthrow the government. And she spreads lies, and at the same time threatens the country and the people. For example, she spreads another lie about a non-existent document, citing non-existent authors of an unknown newspaper," Alen Simonyan noted.

The Armenian speaker emphasized that Margarita Simonyan is "fighting for another gold medal," adding that this is another manifestation of the hybrid war against Armenia.

Alen Simonyan, recalling that elections will be held in Armenia soon, drew attention to the fact that such attacks will continue.

Note that Margarita Simonyan stated on her “X” account that “Puppet sultan Pashinyan signs secret memorandum to turn Armenia into American staging ground for future war with Iran.”
