Today, on February 26, a murder with the use of firearms occurred at one of the combat positions of the Armenian Ministry of Defense located in the Gegharkunik region, APA reports citing News.am.
The military police received operational information that a soldier had died as a result of the shooting.
It was determined at the scene that the information received was accurate. The soldier was identified as 19-year-old Narek Hakobyan, a resident of Abovyan. The identity of the alleged suspect is known and he has been located.
