Smoke occurred in a building on Lenin Avenue in Yekaterinburg as a result of a short circuit, APA reports, citing TASS.
150 people were evacuated before firefighters arrived.
“Due to a short circuit in an electric motor in the basement of the administrative building, smoke occurred without a subsequent fire. Before the firefighting brigade arrived, 150 people were evacuated,” the statement said.
A total of 31 personnel and 12 units of equipment were involved in eliminating the incident.
