The United States has not built a single modular reactor to date, said Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergey Shoigu while commenting on the agreement signed between Yerevan and Washington during U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit to Armenia, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
“Americans always come up with very attractive business proposals, but the United States has not yet built a single small modular reactor, put one into operation, or even tested it for industrial use. Armenia’s top leadership is well aware of Russia’s proposals regarding nuclear energy,” Shoigu emphasized.
