Searches are being conducted at the home of Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of Armenia's "Prosperous Armenia" Party, the party's press secretary, Iveta Tonoyan, said in a post on her Facebook account, APA reports.
According to her, law enforcement officers have cordoned off the area around the house, while investigative actions are being carried out inside the building.
It has not yet been disclosed which criminal case the search is related to.
According to preliminary information, searches are also being conducted at the base of the Armenian National Olympic Committee.
