A search is being conducted at the home of businessman, former member of parliament, and leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” party, Gagik Tsarukyan, APA reports, citing the businessman’s lawyer.
According to the lawyer, the charges are not directly related to Tsarukyan, but concern a criminal case opened in 2020 against former officials of the Arinj municipality.
“As part of the case, certain land plots needed to undergo expert examination, and some of these plots overlap with territories owned by Tsarukyan,” the lawyer added.
It should be noted that a criminal case has been opened against Gagik Tsarukyan, and he has been banned from leaving Armenia.
