“There will be no coup or anything similar in the country," said Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov in an interview with the state news agency Kabar, APA reports.
“Neither the laws nor the situation allow for this. The country must be governed with wisdom, not by force. Where are those who tried to rule by force now? We must learn from the past,” the Kyrgyz President stressed.
Note that on February 10, Japarov dismissed his close political ally and friend, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), Kamchybek Tashiev, along with his three deputies. He removed the Border Service from the structure of this body and established the State Protection Service to ensure the security of the country’s top officials.
After that, the Speaker of Parliament also resigned.
