Moscow strongly warns Washington against the return of American nuclear weapons to the UK, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov told journalists, APA reports.
"As for the topic of the hypothetical return of American tactical nuclear weapons to the territory of Great Britain, I would like to warn in the strongest possible way against this destabilizing step," he said.
According to him, the scenario with the deployment of US nuclear weapons in Britain is likely, it will become a movement towards escalation.
