Russia's revenue from oil and petroleum product exports increased by $3.58 billion in September compared to August, reaching $17.67 billion, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing a report by the International Energy Agency (IEA).

On an annual basis, this figure increased by $4.32 billion.

Total export volumes amounted to 6.52 million barrels per day, down 10,000 barrels compared to August and 970,000 barrels compared to a year earlier.

Meanwhile, crude oil supplies rose to 5.28 million barrels per day, while petroleum product supplies declined to 1.24 million barrels per day.

The International Energy Agency attributed the increase in Russia's export revenues primarily to rising global prices for oil and petroleum products.
