One person has been killed and nine others injured as a result of a Russian airstrike on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, Unian reports.
According to Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, Russian forces struck the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb (KAB) on the morning of June 20. The attack caused serious damage to a two-storey residential building.
Oleh Syniehubov said that two men aged 60 and 49, two women aged 54 and 87, as well as a six-year-old child were injured in the strike. The victims are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
According to information released later, another 66-year-old man in the Kholodnohirskyi district received medical assistance due to an acute stress reaction.
According to the latest reports, one person was killed and a total of nine people sustained injuries of varying severity in the incident.
Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack are ongoing.
