Tu-22M3 bomber aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a planned flight over the neutral waters of the Black Sea, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
It was stated that the bomber aircraft were escorted by Su-35S and Su-27 fighter jets of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The duration of the flight exceeded five hours.
It was noted that long-range aviation crews of the Russian military regularly conduct flights over the neutral waters of the Arctic, the North Atlantic, the Pacific Ocean, the Baltic Sea, and the Black Sea, and that these flights are carried out in strict accordance with international airspace rules.
