The Russian State Duma has ratified the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the Russian Federation and Iran, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
The agreement was ratified during today’s plenary session of the Duma.
The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin emphasized that the agreement, signed by the Presidents of Russia and Iran, would strengthen bilateral cooperation and coordinate actions on international issues, thereby enhancing relations between the two countries.
The agreement was signed in Moscow on January 17 this year.
