Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin arrived in Armenia, the press service of the Russian government posted on Telegram, APA reports.
It is specified that the head of the Russian government was met at the ramp of the plane by Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin and head of the state protocol service of the country's Foreign Ministry Gagik Vanoyan.
Earlier it was reported that an extraordinary meeting of the intergovernmental council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will be held in Yerevan on August 24.
Mishustin also said that, despite pressure from the West, the Eurasian Economic Union is developing effectively.
