Ruben Vardanyan renounced his Russian citizenship, President of Russia Vladimir Putin told a plenary session of Valdai Discussion Club, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
In response to the question about the arrest of the former "leaders" of Garabagh, Putin said that he hopes that the leadership of Azerbaijan will take a humanitarian position in this matter.
Note that Ruben Vardanyan was detained on September 27, 2023 and brought to criminal responsibility as an accused person by announcing the charge. According to the court decision, a preventive measure of 4 months was chosen.
