He mentioned that society might one day be ready for the burial of Lenin's remains.
Putin stated that decisions that could divide society should not be made at this time: "However, at some point, society will come to this decision."
Note that Lenin's mummified remains are kept in the Mausoleum on Red Square. Calls for the burial of his remains have periodically emerged in society.
