On June 17, powerful explosions were heard in Odesa, causing concern among the city’s residents. Reports emerged during the night when at 01:28 an air raid alert was announced due to the takeoff of a MiG-31K, accompanied by the threat of missile attacks across the entire territory of Ukraine, APA reports citing mezha.net.
Later, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the detection of a group of drones approaching Odesa from the Black Sea waters.
At 04:45, the city experienced a series of explosions. Odesa’s mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, confirmed that the city was targeted by Russian drones.
