Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the words of German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock about Russia's military bases in Syria, APA reports citing RT.
Berbok, who arrived in Damascus on an unannounced visit, said that "it's time for Russia to abandon its military bases in Syria." In response, Zakharova advised her to offer Washington the same thing.
"This is from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country where the US military bases are located. I have a question: isn't it time, from the point of view of the German Foreign Minister, for her to say something similar to Washington?" Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel.
