Russian MFA comments on Armenia's refusal to make payments to CSTO

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation commented on Armenia's refusal to make payments to the CSTO budget, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

According to the information, Russian MFA stated that Yerevan had debts for payments to the budget before as well.

"Considering Armenian leadership's refusal to pay the calculated payments, it is necessary to make amendments to CSTO's budget for the current year, but there is no talk of "redistribution of payments". At the same time, Moscow believes that Yerevan is retaining its financial obligations in accordance with the CSTO Charter." said the statement from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Note that Armenia announced it will refuse to participate in financing the activities of the CSTO.
