It has been stated in the Russian State Duma that Telegram will not work even with a VPN, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Duma deputy Andrey Svintsov said that Telegram will be completely blocked.
“If someone thinks that everyone will simply download a VPN and continue using it, nothing will work. Roskomnadzor will block all traffic, and this will make it impossible to bypass the restrictions,” he said.
Note that it has been announced that Telegram will be fully blocked in Russia starting from April 1. The official Moscow stated that this decision was made because the platform does not comply with Russian laws and does not cooperate with Russia.
