Chisinau must go through established procedures to terminate Moldova's CIS membership, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova while commenting on Moldova's withdrawal from the CIS, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to her, denunciation of agreements is Moldova's sovereign right.
"The Russian Foreign Ministry believes that Chisinau's policy harms the interests of citizens for the sake of Brussels' wishes. Moldova is in a difficult socio-economic situation and is dependent on EU loans. Once prosperous Moldova is turning into a territory of poverty and legal weakness," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized.
