The previous rules on the global stage have been virtually abolished, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at his annual press conference, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, the game on the global stage is based on the principle of "whoever is stronger is right."
Lavrov stressed that US President Donald Trump's policy of independently writing the rules of international behavior has been a serious shock to Europe.
The Russian Foreign Minister noted that the first weeks of 2026 will "break all records in terms of creating an impression." He noted the US attack on Venezuela as one of the most significant events, calling it a "brutal armed invasion."
