Negotiations to normalize relations between Russia and the United States was proposed by Trump administration, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the “Primakov Readings” forum, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
He emphasized that despite all deep disagreements, Moscow agreed to Washington’s proposal.
Lavrov also said that Russia is waiting for proposals from Western countries to restore relations once the current "international shamelessness" ends.
The Russian Foreign Minister noted that Moscow will make decisions based on its national interests.
