Armenia, following Albania, is claiming the opportunity to host next year's summit of the European Political Community, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with teachers and students from the Russian Agricultural University in Yerevan, APA's Moscow bureau reports
According to him, the Russian side evaluated this matter during the discussions with their Armenian counterparts today. Lavrov expressed hope that this evaluation is understandable and will be respected, just as the Russian Federation respects the actions of its partners and allies within the CIS and CSTO.
Note that the summit of the European Political Community was held this year in the capital of Albania, Tirana.
