On the morning of August 14, Russian forces struck a residential building in the Sumy region with two jet-powered drones, RBC-Ukraine reports.
A woman and her 9-year-old son were killed, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"Early this morning, the Russians struck a private residential building in the Buryn community with two rocket-powered drones. There is extensive damage and a fire," Hryhorov says.
According to him, a 29-year-old woman and her 9-year-old son were killed at the scene.
Four other people were injured. Two of them, the boy's father and grandmother, are in the hospital with severe burns.
