Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk thanked Azerbaijan for its friendly attitude and efforts to help Russians cross the border, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
Overchuk said that the first group of Russian citizens has already crossed the Azerbaijani-Iranian border.
"About 50 Russian citizens are already on the territory of Azerbaijan. In total, more than 500 Russian citizens have registered to cross into Azerbaijan. We note the constructive and friendly attitude of the Azerbaijani side towards our citizens. We are grateful for that," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
