The Second Western District Military Court of Russia sentenced Andrei Pronsky, accused of the assassination of presenter Vladimir Solovyov, to life imprisonment, and six others to terms ranging from 12 to 28 years, APA reports, citing Mediazona.
According to the publication, Pronsky was found guilty of creating a terrorist organization.
According to the investigation, Pronsky created a cell of the neo-Nazi organization “National Socialism/White Power”, which is recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia, in 2021. The group members were initially engaged in burning cars and military commissariat buildings. According to the investigation, after the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war, they contacted employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
