Russian court fines Tinder, Twitch for refusing to localise data

A Russian court on Monday fined Match Group, which operates Tinder, 10 million roubles ($104,000) and streaming service Twitch 13 million roubles ($135,000) for repeated failure to localise data in accordance with Russian law, APA reports citing Reuters.

Note that Tinder stopped working in Russia on June 30, 2023. In July 2022, the court had fined Match Group another 2 million rubles. for refusing to localize the data of the Russians. Back in May, Roskomnadzor sent a letter to the service demanding to comply with the law on personal data, and a protocol was drawn up because of its implementation.
