"Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with Chinese leader Xi Jinping," said Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, the discussion was friendly and constructive.
"Putin and Xi addressed the escalating situation in the Middle East, strongly condemning Israel's actions, which they said violate international law and the UN Charter. Both Moscow and Beijing agreed that the crisis cannot be resolved through military means. The two leaders also agreed to instruct relevant institutions and agencies in their respective countries to maintain communication and continue exchanging views in the coming days," Ushakov noted.
