"Baku and Yerevan are successfully moving towards the normalization of bilateral relations," Head of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov said at a briefing for foreign military attaches, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, Azerbaijan and Armenia, including thanks to the efforts of Moscow, are successfully moving towards the normalization of bilateral relations.
Gerasimov noted that in response to the West's destructive actions, Russia is taking constructive measures in the South Caucasus region: "Largely thanks to the efforts of our state, positive progress towards the normalization of bilateral relations between Baku and Yerevan is evident."
According to him, the demarcation of one of the most difficult sections of the interstate dividing line between the Gazakh district of Azerbaijan and the Tavush district of Armenia has already been completed.
