Businesspeople from Russia have begun to assess more cautiously the prospects of the projects they are implementing in Armenia, Mikhail Kalugin, Director of the Fourth Department for CIS Countries at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in an interview with RIA Novosti, APA reports.
According to him, the reason for this is the arrest of Samvel Karapetyan.
“Representatives of the business community have begun to raise questions about the stability of Armenia’s investment climate, which is unlikely to contribute to maintaining the growing dynamics of bilateral trade,” Kalugin noted.
