Russian border guards have been withdrawn from all border crossing points along the Armenia–Türkiye border, APA reports.
The information was published by Factor, citing the Armenian government’s report on the implementation of its 2025 program.
According to the report, as of March 2025, the “Margara” border crossing point on the Armenia–Türkiye state border, and as of early 2026, the “Akhurik” border crossing point, have come under the control of the Border Troops of the National Security Service.
“Currently, all border crossing points operating on Armenia’s state border are fully under the control of the Border Troops of the National Security Service,” the report states.
