The Russian army has taken control of the settlements of Kucherovka and Kurilovka in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, said Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, to President Vladimir Putin at a meeting in the Kremlin, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, 45% of the buildings in the Kostyantinovka settlement in the Donetsk region have come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
He also said that the Russian Armed Forces have expanded control over areas in the Sumy region and south of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.
Gerasimov noted that the task of capturing the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions is continuing according to plan.
