Russia is preparing a letter to Armenia, warning that the country’s alignment with European Union norms contradicts the regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk told TASS, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
“I am preparing to sign a letter addressed to my colleague Mher Herberti (Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Grigoryan – ed.), in which we note that these actions (alignment with EU norms – ed.) contradict the rules of the Eurasian Economic Union. Accordingly, we will consider taking appropriate measures,” the Russian deputy prime minister warned.
