Russia will open Consulate General in Gafan, Russian Embassy in Armenia said, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
On October 5, the head of the group for the opening of the Consulate General of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gafan met with the mayor of Megri.
"This will greatly facilitate access to consular services for Russian citizens living in the south of Armenia and will contribute to further strengthening of Russian-Armenian relations and stabilization of the situation in the region," the statement said.
