Internet restrictions in Russia will be lifted “when they are no longer needed," said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, internet service in Russia will be fully restored once there is no longer a need for security measures.
Peskov noted that internet and social media restrictions are imposed for security reasons and that the majority of Russians understand the purposefulness of such measures.
The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that such measures do not mean a return to the past.
