Migrants who do not pass a medical examination in Russia will be deported, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
The State Duma plans to impose fines and deportation for foreigners who do not pass a medical examination.
According to State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, it is proposed to reduce the period of medical examination for those staying in Russia for more than three months from 90 days to 30 days.
The speaker of the Russian parliament said that it is also planned to toughen criminal penalties for falsifying documents confirming the absence of diseases that pose a danger to others.
Note that a foreigner who wants to stay in Russia for more than 90 days must undergo a medical examination.
