"Despite all the obstacles of the West, the export of Russian fertilizers and foodstuffs continues," Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, said in an online briefing for local and foreign media, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

Speaking about the Grain Deal which will expire on July 17, Lavrov noted that if this agreement is terminated, the Russian Federation will provide the necessary amount of grain supply to the poorest countries at its own expense.

Russian Foreign Minister said that Western countries do not comply with the agreements in the Grain Deal. He said that very little of the grain exported under the agreement reaches poor countries.

According to him, the grain agreement has turned into a commercial agreement.

"Russia does not see any real grounds for the extension of the Black Sea Grain Initiative," he noted.
