Russia's response to Ukraine's attack on President Vladimir Putin's state residence will not be diplomatic, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to her, Ukraine should not hope for a diplomatic response from Russia.
"Let Kyiv not hope," the Russian Foreign Ministry official emphasized.
Note that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that Ukrainian forces attempted to launch drone strikes on Putin's residence in the Novgorod region on December 29. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, air defense systems shot down 91 drones. Commenting on the situation, Lavrov noted that Kyiv's actions will not go unanswered by Moscow. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky denied Ukraine's involvement in the attack on Putin's residence. He said that this is an attempt by Moscow to violate the agreements reached during the recent talks between the United States and Ukraine.
