The Russian Armed Forces carried out a large-scale strike on defense industry facilities in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk, as well as military airfields and territorial supply centers in Ukraine, using high-precision air-, land- and sea-based weapons and attack drones, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.

According to the statement, the strikes hit the Kyiv Radar Plant, which develops and manufactures components for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles and produces and repairs military radar systems; Bespilotnye Tekhnologii LLC, which carries out semi-knocked-down assembly of long-range attack UAVs from foreign components; Mayak Plant JSC, which produces warheads for UAVs and boosters for Flamingo cruise missiles; Kyiv State Plant Burevestnik, which manufactures long- and medium-range UAVs as well as radar equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine; Ukr Armo Tech LLC, which assembles warheads (ammunition) for UAVs and various types of missiles; the 410 Civil Aviation Aggregate Plant and Aircraft Repair Plant, which manufactures aerospace equipment and produces and repairs aircraft turbojet engines and components for long- and medium-range UAVs; and other military facilities.

The Defense Ministry has denied reports that Russia struck the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra complex.

"According to confirmed information, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra complex was hit by a missile from the American Patriot air defense system. One of the reasons for the malfunction of this system may be that Western countries supplied the Kyiv regime with missiles whose service life had expired," the Russian Defense Ministry's statement said.
