Russia is ready to resume direct flights with the United States, APA’s Moscow bureau reports, citing the head of Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia.
Rosaviatsia chief Dmitry Yadrov said that all restrictions previously imposed on Russian airlines must be lifted in order for flights to the United States to be restored.
Yadrov emphasized that Russia is prepared to re-establish air links with the United States.
Direct flights between Russia and the United States have been suspended since February 2022.
