On January 9, the Russian Armed Forces disabled Ukraine’s Lviv State Aviation Repair Plant as a result of a strike carried out with “Oreshnik” medium-range missiles, APA’s Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It was noted that using the “Oreshnik” weapon, Russian forces struck production facilities in Ukraine, UAV storage sites, and the infrastructure of the plant’s airfield: “The Lviv Aviation Repair Plant serviced F-16 and MiG-29 aircraft supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Western countries.”
It was also reported that the Russian Armed Forces used “Iskander” and “Kalibr” missiles to strike two production facilities in Kyiv in an air attack.
