Russia is engaged in dialogue with the United States on specific crises and aspects of bilateral relations, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, a principled and large-scale dialogue with the United States regarding how it views itself and the world is long overdue.
Lavrov emphasized that Russia is open to dialogue with both the United States and Israel regarding the situation around Iran.

The Russian minister said that the objectives of the operation against Iran are unclear: “What is happening in the Middle East now reflects deep problems, primarily the absence of international law. The UN Charter is no longer an argument for the United States.”
Lavrov called for holding a Middle East conference, stressing that Russia has long been proposing to convene one.
