The Russian army carried out a large-scale missile attack on Ukrainian defense industry enterprises and related energy facilities this morning, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
It was stated that the attack was carried out "in response to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on civilian targets in the Russian Federation."
It was noted that "Kinzhal" hypersonic cruise missiles were also used during the large-scale attack.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the objectives of the attack were achieved and all designated targets were hit.
In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the army had captured the settlements of Andreevka in the Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine and Prilipka in the Kharkiv region.
