The United States did not allow a Russian representative to participate in events ahead of the G20 summit, said Director of the Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Birichevsky, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
He noted that Russia had issued a demarche to the US side.
According to the diplomat, the Americans made a technical mistake by barring a person who had a visa.
“This situation shows that the United States is not capable of fully fulfilling all the chairmanship functions entrusted to it,” Birichevsky added.
