“Russia is concerned about the expansion of the activities of the European Union mission in Armenia, and the presence of Canadian representatives there indicates the rapid penetration of NATO into the South Caucasus,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said this in an interview with RIA Novosti, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
"We have a negatively assess the activities of the EU mission in Armenia, this has been said many times," the Russian deputy minister said.
According to Galuzin, the duty of the European Union is trying to strengthen itself in the South Caucasus by harming the interests of the regional states - Russia, Iran and Türkiye and their traditional partners and neighbors.
